About Mountain Glory Creations Scenic Photography

Mountain Glory Creations is a small personalized business located in Charlottesville, Virginia, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  We specialize in boutique quality note cards, greeting cards, postcards, prints for framing, DVDs, coffee mugs, invitations, save the date cards, announcements, photo montage posters as well as annual calendars and holiday greeting cards - all featuring our vibrant photography of the City of Charlottesville, County of Albemarle, the University of Virginia, and other areas in Central Virginia and beyond.  What a feast of beauty is literally right outside our door!

We (Bob Brandenburger and Jan Seale) are a husband and wife photographic team, retired from previous careers in educational administration (Jan), and the military and human resources (Bob).  We initially began taking photographs to feed our painting hobbies throughout the winter months, but the beauty of our local photos taken through "painters' eyes," and our ever growing love of digital photography slowly evolved into Mountain Glory Creations.  A question we are frequently asked by individuals viewing our work is "Is this a photograph or a painting?"  We consider it 'painting with a camera'!

Where to Purchase Mountain Glory Creations?
*   You can purchase many of our creations directly from our website!  Come back and browse often as we frequently add to our galleries throughout the seasons.  Ordering directly from our website allows you to choose from a large selection of our images and products - all in one place and from the comfort of your home or office.  You can easily and securely order online using a credit card or Paypal.  (You do NOT need a Paypal account to order, simply use your credit card.)  If you live or work in the Charlottesville area and would like to save on shipping, please contact us directly with your order and we will make arrangements for payment and pick up or delivery.  (There is a small $2.00 fee for in town deliveries.)

*     See us many Saturdays at the Charlottesville City Market in season, 7 a.m. to noon, Water St. Parking Lot, one block from Charlottesville's Downtown Mall.  Look for our blue canopy across from Mono Loco restaurant.  Plenty of off street and garage parking is available, so come and enjoy the varying sights and sounds and tastes as the seasons change!  The City Market seasons runs from the first Saturday in April through December.

*  A varied selection of MGC products can be found in season at Carter Mt. Apple Orchard's Gift Shop, as well as at Chiles Peach Orchard Store in Crozet. 

*  Find many of our note cards at The Student Bookstore on UVA's historic Corner.

*  Ivy Corner Nursery on 250E carries a selection of our note cards which vary with the season.

*  See Staunton related assortments of our creations at Cranberry's, Arthur's Home Gallery, or Mary Baldwin College Bookstore in Staunton, VA.

We have over 3,000 local photos taken throughout the seasons and in many locations.  Contact us if you're looking for scenes of a specific special location in the Central Virginia area.  Chances are we have them!  

Photography On Demand

We are also available to photograph your home, garden, business, church, school, etc. and create  individualized note card assortments, invitations, montage posters, postcards, calendar or prints using our photography.  Great idea for a fundraiser!  Contact us for details.
